GoRescue Affiliated Instructor Terms and Conditions



1. Instructor Certification & Renewal

1.1. To maintain GoRescue Affiliated Instructor status, instructors must have successfully completed the GoRescue Instructor Course and hold valid First Aid at Work (FAW) and Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certifications.

1.2. These certifications must be refreshed every three (3) years to ensure compliance with the latest safety standards and best practices.

1.3. Instructors must participate in any mandatory refresher courses, updates, or additional training sessions required by GoRescue.

1.4. Instructors must demonstrate continued competency in both instructional delivery and first aid techniques, as assessed by GoRescue.

2. Training Requirements

2.1. Affiliated Instructors are required to train a minimum of fifty (50) school students per year in First Aid.

2.2. Training records must be accurately maintained and provided to GoRescue upon request.

2.3. Failure to meet this annual training requirement may result in suspension or termination of GoRescue Affiliated Instructor status.

2.4. Instructors are responsible for ensuring that all training is delivered in a safe, inclusive, and engaging manner, following GoRescue’s approved curriculum.

2.5. All training sessions must be conducted using GoRescue-approved methodologies, materials, and assessment criteria.

2.6. Instructors must adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures when training minors and vulnerable individuals.

3. License Fees & Payment

3.1. All instructor licenses must be paid in full prior to enrolment in the GoRescue instructor program.

3.2. License fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3.3. Any additional training materials, certification renewals, or assessment fees must be covered by the instructor.

3.4. Instructors must ensure their licensing fees remain up to date to avoid suspension of their instructor status.

4. Use of GoRescue Resources & Intellectual Property

4.1. All training materials, resources, branding, logos, and intellectual property provided by GoRescue remain the sole property of GoRescue.

4.2. Instructors are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use GoRescue training materials solely for the purpose of delivering GoRescue-approved training.

4.3. Under no circumstances may GoRescue materials be copied, reproduced, modified, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.

4.4. Any unauthorized use of GoRescue materials may result in immediate termination of instructor status and legal action where applicable.

4.5. Instructors must ensure all training materials are kept secure and not shared with unauthorized individuals or organizations.

4.6. Instructors are prohibited from using GoRescue materials or branding to deliver non-GoRescue-approved courses or training sessions.

5. Brand Representation & Professional Conduct

5.1. Instructors must uphold and positively represent the GoRescue brand at all times.

5.2. The use of GoRescue’s name, logo, or branding must align with official guidelines provided by GoRescue.

5.3. Instructors may not misrepresent their relationship with GoRescue or claim to be employees of the organization.

5.4. Any form of misconduct, unprofessional behavior, or misrepresentation that damages the reputation of GoRescue will result in immediate revocation of instructor status.

5.5. Instructors must wear GoRescue-branded clothing or identification (if provided) when delivering training sessions to maintain a professional image.

5.6. Instructors are required to respond professionally and courteously to all student inquiries and feedback.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

6.1. Instructors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any necessary insurance coverage for the delivery of their training services.

6.2. GoRescue is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage arising from the instructor’s training activities.

6.3. Instructors must comply with all local, regional, and national First Aid training regulations and standards.

6.4. Instructors must conduct risk assessments prior to training sessions and ensure all equipment used is in safe and working condition.

6.5. Any accidents, injuries, or safety concerns arising during training must be reported to GoRescue immediately.

7. Data Protection & Confidentiality

7.1. Instructors must comply with all relevant data protection laws and regulations regarding the handling of student records and personal information.

7.2. Personal data collected during training sessions must be stored securely and only used for legitimate training and certification purposes.

7.3. Instructors may not share, sell, or misuse participant information for any reason outside of GoRescue-approved activities.

8. Termination & Suspension

8.1. GoRescue reserves the right to suspend or terminate an instructor’s affiliation for failure to meet the stated requirements, including non-compliance with training obligations, expired certifications, or misconduct.

8.2. Instructors may voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time, but no refunds will be issued for previously paid licensing fees.

8.3. GoRescue reserves the right to revoke instructor status if an instructor is found to be in breach of any of these terms and conditions.

8.4. In cases of gross misconduct, fraud, or severe breach of policies, termination may be immediate and without prior notice.

8.5. If an instructor’s status is revoked, they must immediately cease using GoRescue materials, branding, and resources.

By enrolling in the GoRescue Affiliated Instructor Program, the instructor acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
