First Aid for Key Stage 4


Description

This e-learning module meets the Key Stage 4 first aid curriculum and follows the Department for Education's statutory and recommended first aid pathway. It teaches pupils how and when to deliver CPR and the concept and use of Automated External Defibrillation (AED). Additionally, we recommend that pupils learn about common first aid emergencies and receive a refresher on the first aid skills taught in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. Certification is awarded upon successful completion of both the e-learning and practical modules with an accredited training provider.

Online Module

This online module provides your students with a strong foundation in first aid. The online module involves up to 2 hours of the 4-hour First Aid for KS4 Students course to be completed online. The remaining hours can be spent on practical, face-to-face training.

The course content equips learners with essential theoretical knowledge to effectively respond to emergencies, treat various injuries and illnesses, and perform life-saving techniques.
